California State University – Chico CIM program receives large gift for research

On Friday, Nov. 2, Chico State’s CIM program held a gifting ceremony in the labs at Langdon Hall on the university’s campus. Douglas Guerrero, the president for CIM Chico State’s Patron’s program, presented a check for $300,000 to complete the new concrete and structural lab, a newly acquired space. The donation was a combination of local Patron gifts and a match provided by the CIM National Steering Committee (NSC). The match provided the necessary funds to complete the needed lab.

Work on the new lab will begin upon completion of the semester in December and, hopefully, be completed by April 2019. Watch this news clip to find out more.
